Wednesday Club Nursing Scholarship

The Doris Pelchat Nursing Scholarship was established in 1988 to honor Doris for her generous donations and loyalty to the Wednesday Club.
The $2,000 Nursing Scholarship is to assist individuals who are dedicated to the nursing field. The scholarship is funded from various Wednesday Club activities.
The following criteria for the submission of the scholarship are:
1. Must be a current resident of Solano County OR a graduate of a Solano County School, and
2. Must have completed one full year of nursing school before they can apply, and
3. Must have a signed letter of reference/recommendation from someone other than a relative, who is acquainted with the plans and abilities of the applicant.
Financial Need: Please give specific information about your full or part-time employment and personal and family responsibilities.
Please complete the following two pages in their entirety. Sign, print and mail them with your signed letter of reference to one of the following:
